Most effective, concise, and on point description of the monster we are up against.

This generation has to "leverage ourselves" if we wish to recover whole and complete on the other side. Meaning those who use the tremendous amounts of intelluctual capital, increasingly free information/business infrastructure will lead us out of this.

Point is, it is morning in America for the young and aspiring. We just need to wake up real good, real quick. So stop trying to get the high score on that useless-ware java web app that is inveitably tied to selling something that you don't need. Scrapped together to get mindless fucks to stare at the same page long enough that hopefully the reptitive use of the company logo will build enough "Brand Recognition" to get you buy an extra cheeseburger from this particular chain in your lifetime.

This is a turning point, start that business, make use of your time, study for that project, and learn that extra skill. Just today I taught myself some basic programming in excel. It is not that hard, the information is out there, and the technology is intuitive. The generation before us lost their way, they got comfortable and fat as soon as they could. (As a whole) The moment was immediately after they graduated and found a job in the leveraged economy, went on auto-pilot and never lifted a finger outside of their employment as the whole thing swelled.

Unfortunately, I don't believe I can afford such luxury.
